We are seeking a degreed Mechanical Engineer to join our growing client. 

The chosen candidate will prepare concept, design, and detail drawings using 3D CAD and other engineering tools, work with laboratory equipment and engineering analysis software. He or she will prepare detailed lists of parts, detail drawings, and materials (bills of materials) required to complete the project; participate in reviews and closely follow customer specifications and requirements for machines, tooling, and automation during the manufacture of machines, tooling, and automation.

The chosen candidate is encouraged to continuously improve engineering processes, help develop strategies and processes to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and initiate cost reduction opportunities and performance improvements. The ideal candidate will be able to apply a good working knowledge of designing and specifying components for high-force machines and handling systems, using a solid understanding of the manufacturing environment, including machining processes, workflow, assembly processes, cycle time and quality and delivery expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product testing
• Assess the feasibility of product design
• Review defunct products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 4+ years' of industry experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
