Hours 11PM-7AM Sunday-Thursday
Pay:$19/hr
Key Accountabilities include:
- Performs welding and fabrication
- Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects.
- Develops fabrication method and provides feedback on the fabrication process to internal and external customers.
- Documents standardized work processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Welding
- Correctly welds pieces of metal together.
- Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds and cleans metal.
Additional Duties
- Ensures correct documentation and processes are followed for standardized work process.
- Annotates and marks up customer blue prints for future reference.
- Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: This position requires experience MIG welding. Incumbents are required to have an understanding of the fabrication processes, the ability to read blue prints; and knowledge of the welding diagrams and symbols.
- Language Development: Ability to read technical journals and reports, blueprints, workplace rules and procedures; prepare reports using a prescribed format.
- Licensures and Certifications: Welding certifications preferred but not required.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
