Hours 11PM-7AM Sunday-Thursday

Pay:$19/hr

Key Accountabilities include:

1. Performs welding and fabrication
2. Performs visual quality checks and takes appropriate action to correct defects.
3. Develops fabrication method and provides feedback on the fabrication process to internal and external customers.
4. Documents standardized work processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Welding

1. Correctly welds pieces of metal together.
2. Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds and cleans metal.

   Additional Duties

3. Ensures correct documentation and processes are followed for standardized work process.
4. Annotates and marks up customer blue prints for future reference.
5. Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience: This position requires experience MIG welding. Incumbents are required to have an understanding of the fabrication processes, the ability to read blue prints; and knowledge of the welding diagrams and symbols.
2. Language Development: Ability to read technical journals and reports, blueprints, workplace rules and procedures; prepare reports using a prescribed format.
3. Licensures and Certifications: Welding certifications preferred but not required.
4. Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
