    Job Description

    Benefit Finance Partners, LLC (BFP) is looking for an INSTITUTIONAL SALES CONSULTANT who can assist in developing relationships with banks, insurance companies and other public corporations to further the distribution of proprietary financial products.

    This full-time position is responsible for fostering strong relationships with banks and insurance companies in the <$5 Billion in assets market segment. The ideal candidate must have the ability to educate prospective institutional clients on the products offered by the firm to create interest and support the sale of the products. The position’s responsibilities include developing strategies to attract new institutional clients, attend industry events to build new relationships, collaborate with team members, and assist as necessary to facilitate the other team members' development of client relationships.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

    • BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or similar degree

    • Three to five years of professional experience interacting with clients

    • Strong professional network of existing bank and/or insurance company relationships

    • Ability to develop new business through superior marketing and writing skills

    • Driven and ambitious with proven sales success at the executive level including prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, and closing the sale

    • Experience in developing relationships with senior level executives

    BFP desires a team player with previous experience in fixed income sales, accounting, correspondent banking, asset management, treasury services or institutional insurance. The ideal candidate should demonstrate success at developing new relationships with financial institutions.
