KPERS is located in Topeka, Kansas and full-time remote work is not available. After six months, the Benefits Analyst may be allowed to work remotely on Fridays.

KPERS' Benefits Analysts must be committed to customer service. They are responsible for processing KPERS benefits and counseling members, employers and others who contact the System. KPERS staff provide members with the information they need to make informed decisions and get the most from their benefits.

Experience Required
Two years of experience interacting with clients, customers or the public in a social service, customer service or problem resolution setting. Applicants should have experience performing mathematical calculations, analyzing files for benefits or payments, managing high-volume workloads and working with computer software programs. Proficiency speaking Spanish is a plus. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
