    Job Description

    Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

    The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for administering health and welfare benefits, 401(k), leaves of absence and recognition programs. This position will interact with internal clients across the organization as well as external vendors, serving as the subject matter expert in employee benefits, leaves of absence, and related legislation. This position will support the design, development and communication of benefits and recognition programs.

    In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

    • Administers and participates in the development of Spectrum employee benefit programs, including health and welfare plans, 401(k) retirement plan, voluntary benefits, educational assistance, recognition programs, leaves of absence, and other benefits.
    • Identifies opportunities for improvement and consistency; prioritizes, recommends, and implements solutions to processes and policies.
    • Analyzes available data, trends, and feedback, and ensures compliance with expectations for optimal operation and goal achievement.
    • Acts as a subject matter expert and ensures compliance for related federal, state, and local law, as well as plan documents and policies.
    • Acts as an escalation point for internal partners and external vendors.
    • Participates in annual benefits renewal. Partners with broker and vendors to gather pertinent data, provide input, prepare analyses to support the decision-making process and selection of benefit plans.
    • Assists in developing timely and effective benefits communication strategies and materials related to current and new plans, programs, and policies to enhance understanding and adoptability.
    • Accurately documents records in accordance with Company standards.
    • Conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual audits to ensure accuracy.
    • Builds collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders on total rewards programs and strategy and policy interpretation.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in an analytical role, benefits and HR related preferred
    • Experience in large (1000+ employees), complex organizations preferred
    • Knowledge and experience with HR software applications (UKG and PlanSource preferred)
    • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality
    • Capability to exercise sound judgment and work well under pressure to effectively manage priorities and meet timelines and deliverables
    • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
