Job Summary: Benefits Supervisor for a franchise management company manages and administers employee benefits, ensuring compliance and accurate processing for all franchise locations and corporate employees. They also support franchise owners on benefits-related matters, ensuring consistent benefit offerings and communication. This role requires a strong understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and franchise operations.

Responsibilities
Oversee the administration of the company’s health insurance, wellness, and PTO programs
Supervise the creation of benefits enrollment forms to ensure they accurately reflect our company’s insurance, retirement, PTO, and other benefits policies
Create instructions and guidelines that will educate staff members on our company’s benefits policies and enrollment procedures
Review and process submitted forms, as well as payroll and premium reports, retirement documents, and other important data
Record employee status changes, such as contract terminations, sick leaves, and vacations, and make sure our database is regularly updated
Communicate with health insurance and other benefits vendors to ensure our internal benefits policies reflect the actual services they provide
Keep track of our budget, monitor expenditures, read tax reports, and compile reports on the utilization of our benefits programs
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Benefits Supervisor, Benefits Manager, or a similar role
Bachelor’s degree or MS in Business Administration, HR, Management, or Communications
Superior knowledge of benefits program management and various procedures involved in administering welfare and other benefits plans
Familiarity with benefits software such as Plansource and ADP
An HR certificate, such as SHRM-SCP, is preferred
Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
