Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and deepening the relationships with the client for the purpose of driving revenue growth. This role is expected to develop meaningful relationships with key contacts at the client, including decision makers. The Account Manager will manage all facets of the relationship – communications, implementations, service inquiries, etc. – coordinating with internal resources as necessary. He/She will also identify opportunities to sell additional products based on the needs of the client, recognizing the need for the client relationship to be beneficial to both.
As with all roles within Beneplace, the Account Manager will work effectively with other departments internally and externally to drive the mission of Beneplace and the interest of the clients. This role is also expected to maintain a positive, professional environment, upholding the values of the organization.
Specific Responsibilities
Schedule all meetings with the appropriate parties
Conduct pre-meeting prep, post-meeting follow up, including a summary to the client
Drive communication within the employee population to increase awareness & utilization, including managing the auto/home communications with carriers and client
Conduct in person meeting with each client at least once per year
Identify opportunities for new product additions, leveraging sales product specialists for the sale completion
Manage implementations for new product additions within assigned book of business, including product RFP (TBD), calls with carriers, TPA’s and enrollment platforms
Ensure that commission has been awarded appropriately from carriers
Coordinate any billing inquiries (through IL role)
Manage all aspects of open enrollment, leveraging others as appropriate
o Manage product renewals within assigned book of business
o Coordinate benefit fair attendance (with Client Success Manager)
o Coordinate communications wherever available (platform, email, HR sent)
Address any day-to-day questions or tasks from the client
Manage brand nominations (through brand team) to resolution/completion
Record all client-related activities within corporate CRM
Participate in corporate-wide initiatives, as requested
Other duties, as assigned
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
TX Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload
Ability to gather and analyze data
