Beneplace is the leading provider of employee savings plans to large employers both in the US and overseas, and we are seeking a Senior Accountant/Analyst to support our increased needs as our company grows. This person will be responsible for helping the Director of Finance with the accounting and financial reporting for the company, which includes the monthly close process; reconciliations; internal financial, sales and KPI reporting; external reporting, budgeting and forecasting; and other tasks as they arise. This person would also perform P&L and balance sheet account analysis and provide explanations of significant variances from budget. The ideal candidate is a CPA with three years of experience—an Excel wizard who is also familiar with QuickBooks Enterprise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
CPA
Minimum of three years of accounting experience, with at least a year's experience of general ledger accounting including month-end closes and P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
Advanced Excel skills (this is key--you should be able to build and maintain complex models, handle ad-hoc reporting requests, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with QuickBooks (not QuickBooks Online) is a plus
