    Overview:

    Amelia Home Care is seeking compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients across various settings. This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals who need assistance with daily activities and medical needs while helping them maintain independence and quality of life. We value caregivers with strong communication skills, a passion for helping others, and experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospice. HHAs in this role will work closely with healthcare teams and must adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and safety.

    Requirements:

    • Valid HHA Certificate
    • MUST SPEAK BENGALI
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Consistent, reliable, and timely attendance
    • Strong desire and compassion for caring for others

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
    • Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
    • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
    • Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
    • Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques
    • Offer companionship and emotional support
    • Perform light housekeeping tasks (cleaning, laundry)
    • Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed

    Experience:

    • Previous Home Health Aide experience preferred
    • Ability to work with individuals with special needs or medical conditions
    • Strong communication skills with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding medical records and sensitive information
