    Benny's is looking to grow our manager in training and assistant management teams by 8-10 top-qualified applicants! The perfect assistant manager candidate would have experience managing teams of at least 10 employees, love working in a fast-paced and outdoor environment, enjoy providing only the best customer service, be enthusiastic about building teams, and eager to learn all about Benny's! Since 1951, we have been working to achieve our goal of being the best service organization in the Baton Rouge area. Our management team leads our staff to ensure we provide value and quality in the car wash, oil change, and retail industries.

    Qualifications & requirements for assistant managers:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older and have full-time availability
    • Minimum two years management experience with teams of at least 10 employees
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Professionalism, patience, and integrity
    • Willing and able to comply with uniform and appearance policies, such as no visible tattoos or piercings, no non-natural hair colors, clean-shaven face, professional appearance, and as defined by the full policy in the company handbook
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

    Benefits for assistant managers:

    • Generous and competitive pay starting at $17 / hour PLUS eligibility for monthly bonuses
      • Minimum annualized salary: $41,990
      • MAXIMUM ANNUALIZED SALARY WITH BONUS: $55,400
    • Paid time off - 80 hours per year for the first 2 years, increasing with tenure

    Regardless of your professional or educational background, by joining our manager in training, assistant, and operations management team_,_ you will be able to learn all functions of our business in the car wash, oil bay, or B-Quik stores. You will have the opportunity to work in each role and learn how it impacts our success. Along with field training, you will also attend training classes to further develop your skills.

    After completing the first part of your training at the production level, you will shadow a General Manager for hands-on training in daily operations. You will work in an OUTDOOR environment and learn to interact with our customers and employees. You will be trained in every aspect of the business and play an active role in customer service, maintenance, and operations.

    As you gain experience with Benny's, you will be exposed to more management and financial training. At this point, we encourage you to begin making decisions with your team for your site. We will expect you to mentor, train, develop and manage your staff.

    You will have opportunities for pay increases, promotions, and bonuses based on your performance. To become a successful manager, you should be willing to step outside your comfort zone and learn new things.
