Bentkey Ventures (The Daily Wire) is looking for a Vice President of Production to function as the head of Production for all Bentkey / Daily Wire content. The VP of Production will work with the Executive Team to champion the strategic plan and initiatives as assigned by the Co-CEOs. If you are an experienced, senior-level Production professional who is passionate about the industry, as well as about the political and editorial news landscape, we look forward to hearing from you. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Supervise all aspects of production and post-production
•    Develop effective procedures and systems to keep productions running smoothly
•        Collaborate with the Executive Team, Finance, Legal and Social Media departments, as well as outside producing partners, to set up a global production plan, master schedule, workflow and maximization of budget spend
•        Create production budgets, schedules, and planning documents
•        Continually monitor, track, analyze, and report metrics for all projects
•        Report schedule and budget challenges and provide solutions
•        Supervise and collaborate with lead producers of each project
•        Oversee equipment and technology, integrating all original content deliveries into established workstreams and asset management systems from ingest to publish
•        Oversee development of new projects from concept to platform
•        Maintain a high standard in design concepts and visual aesthetics
•        Help accurately forecast and maintain delivery of programming to platform
•        Perform other duties as assigned 
• Directly supervise team members of Production and Post-Production departments as assigned

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

•        10 years physical and post-production experience (minimum of 5 years at studio, network, or production company)
•        A high level of integrity, care, and a passion for the quality of programming that airs on the network
•        Strong understanding of the “voice” of the Daily Wire brand and its Talent
•        Interest in and familiarity with political and editorial news landscapes
•        The demonstrated ability to work at the strategic level as well as operating day-to-day activities
•        Highly skilled in identifying and solving physical production issues strategically and in a timely manner while upholding the creative vision of the project
•        Strong understanding of the production process and working familiarity with the various entertainment guilds and unions for film and TV including but not limited to: SAG-AFTRA, DGA, WGA and IATSE
•        Flexibility and the ability to perform effectively under stress and to meet deadlines
•        Familiar with the current trends and workflows including 4K, multi-cam, streaming and broadcast.
•       Comfortable with travel (25%+)

REPORTS TO: Co-CEO

START DATE: Immediate

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time; Exempt

COMPENSATION: $120k-$150k; Dependent upon experience
