Job Description
A commercial contracting company located in Houston, TX seeking an accounting manager.
Minimum requirements:
*THREE TO FIVE years accounting experience
*Knowledge of Work in Progress and Cost Accounting
*Construction Experience
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Duties:
*Day to day accounting operations and over sight of the accounting department including payroll preparations
*Prepare in house financial statements on a monthly basis
*Establish and maintain internal controls
*Manage all aspects of the general ledger
*Provide monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
Preference:
*Proficient in Excel
*General knowledge in construction based software
