Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related fields
• Experience in the hospitality industry (restaurants, chefs, hotels, and consumer products) a plus
• Knowledge of food & beverage, hospitality media a plus
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written (creative writing a must)
• Creativity, passion and enthusiasm
• Social media savvy
• Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask, and work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Work independently and result oriented
• Excellent work ethic and reliability

Responsibilities:

• Compose press releases, fact sheets, and bios, and compelling, innovative pitches
• Consistently secure media placements in print, online and broadcast media
• Assist in manage client’s day-to-day activities and assist senior account executives in general account management, as well as in developing creative and strategic PR initiatives
• Media and client relations
