Job Summary:

Berk Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a talented graphic designer to join our in-house creative team. This graphic designer would work in the art department on a variety of projects related to the foodservice disposable and packaging industry including, but not limited to product design, stock and custom print design, product literature, advertising, product photography, photo editing, and promotional material.

Objectives of this role:

Work on a wide range of projects to develop innovative graphic designs that satisfy customer needs and Berk Enterprises, Inc.’s values.

Obtain input from interoffice departments and sales to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company and customer appropriately.

Work independently as well as cooperatively with the art department to develop stock product and custom printed designs, product literature, and new product designs.

Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilities.

Update and maintain internal databases for designs and photography as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop artwork proofs for stock and custom printed products.

Design and update product literature.

Develop new product concepts and mockups.

Retouch, correct, and manipulate photography.

Produce promotional material.

To be considered for a career with us, you will need:

3+ years of experience in professional graphic design

Exceptional creativity and design skills

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Organizational and time management skills

Understanding of CMYK, RGB, and Pantone color spaces.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) in a Mac environment.

Understanding of 3D Design principles.

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related field.
