Full-Time or Part-Time Year-Round Office/Accounting Assistant
We are a local Berkeley professional office offering accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals. Our office has an immediate year-round Office/Accounting Assistant position. Days and Hours are somewhat flexible. Can be a part-time position or a full-time position with benefits (for the right person). The job responsibilities are mostly: - Assist with bookkeeping/accounting, payroll, income tax returns - Scanning - Filing - Packaging of completed accounting/tax work - Preparing shipment airbills via GSO, FedEx, USPS, UPS for packages to be mailed - Preparing client files for appointments the next day - Greeting clients / other visitors to our office - Answer the phone
