    COVID19 Health Care Administrator

    Berklee College of Music

    Purpose of the Position:

    Coordinate and serve as our single point of contact for all aspects of the health care response, in partnership with Tufts Medical Center team with respect to the COVID pandemic. This is a short-term temporary opportunity.

    Your direct reports: COVID Health Care Administrative Coordinator

    Essential Functions of the Position:

    • Serve as a liaison with epidemiologist consultants and Tufts Medical Center Team
    • Serve as liaison on COVID-19 response/ mitigation plan to the Core Response Team
    • Lead efforts to stay abreast of COVID testing protocols and cutting-edge testing and explore viability for the College.
    • Lead the quarantine and isolation process of students with Student Affairs support.
    • Lead the quarantine and isolation process of faculty and staff with HR support.
    • Develop and maintain all COVID health guidance compliant with CDC and department of health.
    • Guide & Recommend ways to maintain the safest campus possible and play a critical role on the COVID Core Response Team
    • Main contact and Partner with Berklee’s test provider and testing logistics vendor to be sure the process flows smoothly for staff, faculty and staff.
    • Partner closely with facilities to ensure the campus is at low density, academic affairs to be sure classroom sizes are maintained and Human Resources to be sure staffing levels remain low.
    • Consult and guide Core Response Team on all matters related to COVID.
    • Network and connect with colleges and universities in the area to stay abreast of their activities and look for ways to partner/coordinate.
    • Ensure Berklee is properly supplied with PPE for the entire community.
    • Must be available and able to respond on evenings and weekends as needed.

     Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to create solutions to complex problems.
    • Strong examples on how to deal with ambiguity.
    • Experience making decisions based upon collaboration.
    • Focused ability to drive results and passion for follow-up.
    • Previous experience with building processes and/or implementing institutional workflows.
    • Strong decision-making skills.

    Preferences:

    • Masters in healthcare administration
    • Metrics-Driven Decision Making
    • Execute and lead decision-making processes.
    • Successful track record of presenting and influencing organizational cultures.
    • Someone comfortable working onsite in person, if necessary.
