    Our law firm has a full-time associate attorney position available now and we’re looking for the right professional to join our team. You will have the opportunity to learn from senior associates and litigation associates on legal issues and will provide legal counsel to existing clients. You’ll also be responsible for performing legal research, drafting documents, and keeping client files up to date. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients and senior associates and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently • Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff • Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise clients accordingly • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions • Draft and negotiate real estate transactions • Draft routine leases and amendments • Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed • Manage regulatory and compliance-related services • Represent the company in the purchases and sales of properties Qualifications: • Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base • Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys • Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam • Admitted as a notary public (essential) • Passed the Florida Bar Compensation: $100,000
