Job Description

Best Industry Research (BIR) is looking for Market Research Analysts to survey consumer and industry preferences to support our readers in their decision-making process regarding industry trends, market share, and growth opportunities in the respective industry. The successful Market Research Analyst will be able to analyze and effectively communicate qualitative data, industry trends, and strategic insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct primary market research interviews (TDIs / IDIs) with consumers, industry subject matter experts and industry companies (qualitative).
• Collect data on consumers, companies and industry; consolidate information into succinct insights and takeaways (quantitative)
• Understand industry nuances and design surveys to discover industry trends and insights
• Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods
• Perform valid and reliable industry SWOT analysis
• Use online market research and databases
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to write industry reports

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven market research analysis experience
• Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
• Strong writing skills
• Experienced in use of search engines, databases and other research tools
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, primary interviews, etc.)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• Strong industry domain knowledge in one of the following industries is preferred:
  • Life Science
  • Technology
  • Professional Services
  • Retail & Consumer Goods
  • Manufacturing & Heavy Industry
