The human resources business partner will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources for one of Best Life Brands portfolio companies. In this role you will administer various HR functions for the organization including: talent acquisition, onboarding, HR administration and compliance, payroll and benefits administration, performance management, employee relations and affirmative action and employment law compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Human Resources and talent management function for office
Ensure all employee records are compliant with state and federal regulations.
Leads the staffing function including talent acquisition, retention, and conducting of exit interviews.
Manages performance management process, reward and recognition systems, and corrective behavior/progressive discipline programs.
Proactively manages employee relations practices to help to foster a high productivity and high engagement work environment
Facilitate new employee orientation, on-boarding, and HR training programs
Administer payroll processing and perform benefits administration including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Desired Skills & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
5+ years’ experience in Human Resource
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Home Health experience is especially valuable.
Talent Acquisition experience is a plus
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledgeable of local, state, and federal employment law and regulations
Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with people internally and externally, in person and in writing.
Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and with a high degree of personal accountability, professionalism, and responsibility.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred.
