The Franchise Business Coach is responsible for assisting franchisees in understanding and implementing the franchisor’s business model, processes, and best practices. They work closely with franchisees to help them optimize their operations, increase profitability, and maintain brand consistency. Additionally, they act as a liaison between franchisees and the franchisor to facilitate communication and ensure compliance with franchise standards.
Travel Required: between 30-65% depending on the quarter
Accountabilities:
A regional performance coach plays a crucial role in supporting franchisees and ensuring the success of the franchise business. Their primary responsibility is to provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to franchisees to help them effectively operate their franchise location(s) and achieve business goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Franchisee Training:
In accordance with onboarding and training schedules, provided weekly support calls and field visits to new franchisees.
Train and coach, all franchisees in your region on the placement process, brand standards, and best practices.
Operational Support:
Interpret and implement CarePatrol policies and operating practices as it relates to providing consultation or expert advice to franchisees.
Provide direct support, motivation, consulting and coaching to franchisees, answer questions and troubleshoot problems and concerns.
Conduct weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly support calls.
Support and attend our company’s regional and national meetings.
Conduct presentations and communicate industry news and trends.
Conduct field visits to existing franchisees.
Document support communication and field visits
Address contractual compliance issues such as office location, entity names, trademark usage, insurance, payment of royalties, etc.
Business Analysis and Improvement:
Provide best practices on KPI’s, financial planning, hiring, and retaining employees, marketing and sales, workflow and operations, and breakeven and forecast analysis to achieve maximum profitability.
Recognize franchisees for sales, production, and community citizenship achievements.
Communication and Reporting:
Complete expense reports on a timely basis.
Weekly 1:1 update with the Direct of Operations.
Assist with major initiative rollouts.
Work with other Home Office departments to create new programs and initiatives and to solve franchisees’ challenges.
Problem Resolution and Time Management:
Must have proven diplomacy, confidentiality, and inter-personal skills and the capacity to work under pressure are necessary elements of the position due to the nature of working with franchisees and peers daily.
Exceptional time management, customer service, problem solving, and decision-making with multiple deadlines is important to being successful in the position.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or an Operations Management Related Field preferred
5+ years in Franchise management, operations or coaching experience is preferred.
Prior training/coaching experience a plus
Ability to work from home and travel up to 65% to our franchise owners
Proven track record in driving revenue growth
Demonstrated competency in business analysis, marketing and development

Basic proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems

The ideal candidate will have strong business coaching experience, an entrepreneurial management approach and a proven track record of getting results.
