Fractional CFO for Family Office and Law Practice
We are currently seeking a skilled Fractional CFO to primarily work within a family office, overseeing the financial affairs of the law firm owners and manage the financial aspects of their law practice.
As the Fractional CFO for the law practice you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial affairs of the owners and overseeing the high-level financial operations of their law practice. Your responsibilities will include:
Directly oversee and be the direct point of contact for the cash balance plans, 401K plans, banking relationships, insurance, and investment portfolios to ensure efficient cash flow management and asset growth for both the owners and the law practice.
Manage and administer family trust, estate, and asset protection strategies.
Together with a wealth manager and CPA, develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes and minimize tax liabilities.
Collaborate with legal and financial teams to design and implement profit sharing plans and other financial structures to support the financial goals of the practice.
Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to provide strategic insights and recommendations for effective money management and wealth preservation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise.
Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller, or similar role, preferably in a high-net-worth family office.
Strong knowledge of family trusts, estates, tax planning strategies, asset protection, insurance, and financial management best practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with high-net-worth individuals, legal teams, accounting, and wealth management teams.
This is a fractional position, outsource professional position, compensation will depend on experience, knowledge, and qualifications.
This is a remote position.
