    The Communications and Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and executing an overall communication and social media strategy to support Best Practice Medicine to multiple audiences.

    In this position, you will support the Chief Administrative Officer in the development and implementation of communication strategies to both internal and external audiences. You will work with staff and customers to establish, maintain, and improve online communities and communication by leveraging established and emerging social media platforms. The overarching goal of this position will be to engage and acquire clients and employees through positive interactions on Best Practice Medicine's social media platforms and effective internal and external communications.

    Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Support the day-to-day functions of communications and content development that align with the strategic initiatives of Best Practice Medicine.
    • Develop social media content for Best Practice Medicine's social channels that may include, but are not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
    • Ensure that all communications are aligned with the system's brand and are presented with audience-appropriate tone and language.
    • Monitor and engage with stakeholders on social media (respond to comments promptly, answer questions, identify potential issues and trending content, etc.)
    • Lead social media listening.
    • Identify stories and produce high-quality written materials for electronic, print, newsletters, web, video, and media outlets.
    • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar and oversee all efforts to publicize special activities, services, and events.
    • Develop and place social media advertising to support customer acquisition, customer retention, and other growth strategies.
    • Monitor and measure the impact of internal communications programs. Use a data-driven strategy to revise and recommend new strategies, channels, resources, and tools.
    • Serve as a collaborative resource about social media strategy, trends, and best practices.
