Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest’s stay by working with all hotel personnel to ensure every guest experiences exceptional customer service. Will get paid an additional $1 an hour for showing up to your scheduled shift on time and not leaving early. Responsibilities: Includes registering guests, assigning rooms, accommodating special requests, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth check-out. Qualifications: Tasks And Competencies: • Maintains an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments. • Possesses a solid knowledge of the property management system. • Make same-day and future guest reservations. Understand and follow cancellation procedures. • Answer multi-line telephone with approved greetings and direct appropriately. • Familiarity with room types, hotel information, and possess sales skills to sell accordingly. • Balances guest accounts and credit cards at check out. • Uses persuasive selling techniques to upsell rooms and amenities. • Resolves guests’ complaints in a prompt and courteous manner. • Ensures customer privacy is protected. • Maintains a balanced cash drawer. • Maintain inter-shift and inter-department communication throughout the hotel. • Document incidents and relevant shift information with details and appropriately. • Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor. • Performs other duties as assigned. Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly + Bonuses
