    The incumbent will use their thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts; identify opportunities to improve utilization and efficiency of systems and procedures; and play a significant role in the financial management of the companies’ inventory

    TOTAL COMPENSATION

    • Competitive starting salary.

    • Support for continuous learning and development, including maintenance of CPA designation.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage month-end and year-end closing process.
    • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
    • Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the Controller if necessary.
    • Analyze and summarize account information and trends.
    • Prepare documentation for external auditors.
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen the company’s internal controls.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience and Education

    • 5+ years’ experience including 2 as a senior staff accountant in a company with at least $50MM in annual revenues
    • Participation in software implementation projects
    • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or comparable education and experience
    • CPA designation or public accounting experience preferred

    Knowledge

    • Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger functions, the month-end/year-end close process, and creating financial accounting statements
    • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and standard accounting procedures
    • Inventory costing, transfer pricing, duty & freight, inventory variances
    • Awareness of business trends
    • Familiarity with lease accounting standards

    Skills

    • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, preferably Sage and SAP Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
    • Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) warehouse preferred

    Location: The incumbent will need to live a commutable distance from our Lebanon, NH U.S. headquarters. This is a hybrid role with an opportunity to work remotely 2 days/week.
