    Our office is expanding and we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to our patients. Responsibilities: • Assist healthcare providers in performing routine medical procedures and examinations • Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rate • Prepare patients for examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about procedures • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws, urine analysis, and specimen collection • Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, treatments, and preventive healthcare measures • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and allergies • Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, processing billing and insurance claims, and maintaining medical records • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment • Collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care Qualifications: • Has Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agency • Candidates must have successfully completed an accredited medical assisting program a supervised externship in a healthcare setting • Graduated from high school or received GED • 1 year of prior experience as in a medical assisting role performing administrative duties or similar position in a healthcare work environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in recording patient information and performing tasks • Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical software systems • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Compassionate demeanor and genuine desire to help others; commitment to providing high-quality patient care • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling patient information Compensation: $20 hourly to start
