This position is under the direct supervision of the Food Service Director.  The individual in this position will be expected to serve meals and clean-up the dining room, assist the Food Service Director with the receiving and storing of deliveries, placing perishable items into the refrigerator/freezer.  Maintains kitchen equipment and cleanliness in accordance with sanitation and safe food handling procedures; assists with maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents.
