    What we are looking for:

    A Project Developer that has at least 3 years of experience in sales relevant to Residential Remodeling, new home construction, design and has a background in project management. Our ideal candidate will share our values, adhere to our culture, and have our client’s best interest at heart. The Project Developer is often the first person to meet with our clients, so a professional, friendly demeanor is a must while also determining what projects will be a good fit for our company.

    A few other must haves and some nice to haves:

    • Excellent and creative written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
    • Proficient use of technology (laptop, iPad, and Microsoft applications) for daily job and administrative tasks
    • Exceptional time management and ability to meet deadlines
    • Excellent organization skills and ability to work independently
    • Positive attitude and self-motivating
    • Ability to think on your feet and creatively problem solve
    • Knowledge of common and cutting-edge home décor and building products
    • Nice to Have: familiarity with construction documents and estimating
    • Nice to Have: familiarity with interior design and architectural processes

    What you will do:

    The Project Developer is responsible for overseeing the sales cycle of multiple projects at a time. You will be responsible for selling remodeling projects to homeowners that meet their needs, represent value to them and generate profit for the company. You will sell consultatively, becoming a trusted advisor and making recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions Better Builders offers. The PD will report directly to the Sales Manager and will interface with the Design, Estimating, Production, Finance, and Marketing Departments.

    What you will get:

    • $50,000 base plus generous commission and regular performance bonuses (earning potential $80,000-$200,000+)
    • Accrued 2 weeks paid vacation, approximately 9 holidays, accrued sick leave
    • Medical insurance with 75% of premiums paid by Better Builders
    • Additional discounted life/disability/accident insurance available
    • Company apparel
