    THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail to join the Betterview team as an Executive Assistant. This role acts as the glue of the entire company and will work with Betterview leadership to coordinate strategic initiatives, corporate objectives, and other special projects. The Executive Assistant will also coordinate and communicate with all levels of the company to keep projects, objectives, and initiatives on track to meet established deadlines. The duties included in this position run the gamut from high-level strategy to ground-level logistics and admin support, meaning this individual will engage at nearly every level of the business.     WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Independently provides high-level administrative support to Co-Founders and leadership team including managing calendars; expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that may be confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.

    • Work closely and effectively with the Co-Founders to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. 

    • Assist the Co-Founders and leadership team in the planning, facilitation and coordination of meetings, strategic initiatives, and corporate objectives.

    • Assess inquiries directed to the Co-Founders and determine the proper course of action. 

    • Support the efficient execution of projects, initiatives, and issues with follow-up, tracking, and progress reports.

    •    Coordinate and facilitate necessary communication between Co-Founders and Board including, but not limited to, pertinent information related to company updates, board meetings, etc.

    • Develop draft communications on behalf of the Co-Founders and leadership team.

    • Develop layout/format of special projects/reports; including presentations, reports, informational packages, etc.

    • Assist in the preparation of internal and external company events.

    • Requisition needed supplies, equipment, and repair and maintenance services through various channels as needed.

    • Order/manage/ship promotional items for employees and customers (i.e. T-shirts, coffee mugs, etc.)

    • Manage special projects on behalf of the Co-Founders and the leadership team.

    • Welcome visitors, answer questions and meeting requests directed to executives.

    • Summarize content of incoming materials, specially gathered information, or meetings to assist executives; coordinate new information with other sources; draw attention to important matters or areas of conflict.

    • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the executives, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determine appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR COMPANY

    •    Knowledge and high proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
    •    Knowledge and proficiency with Google Enterprise Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets).
    •    Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
    •    High school diploma, Bachelor's Degree a plus.
    •    One to three years' experience in a similar role, including previous work experience working for a startup.
    •    Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
