    Betz & Port, P.A. is looking for an experienced, high-impact litigation paralegal for our growing plaintiff’s personal injury law firm. An established firm since 2001, the firm is looking to scale up to provide even better advocacy for our clients all over the Twin Cities in Minnesota. We are a virtual law firm providing stand-out representation to injured clients after a car or trucking crash; we also work in product liability law and occasionally criminal law. This position will allow the successful candidate to step into a quickly growing practice with opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and analysis to support the attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and pleadings. • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal correspondence. • Manage case files and maintain organization throughout the litigation process. • Handle the calendaring and tracking of court deadlines. • Assist with the preparation of trial exhibits and other trial-related materials. • Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the litigation process. • Prepare and file documents with state and federal courts, including e-filing. • Assist with the preparation of deposition summaries, witness lists, and other case-related materials. • Provide support during trial, including managing exhibits, assisting with witnesses, and other tasks as needed. • Stay up-to-date on changes in the law and court rules that may impact the litigation process. • Lead, mentor, and train new paralegals in the future as the firm grows. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting. • Strong knowledge of the state and federal court system, including court rules and procedures. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software programs. • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred. • A home office with reliable internet connectivity. • Experience with Clio preferred. Compensation: $72,000 - $90,000 yearly
