Job Description
The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of the beverage department on the casino floor in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local liquor, health, and safety regulations. This role encompasses comprehensive personnel management, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance coaching, and employee development, while collaborating with Director on departmental budget planning and financial performance monitoring.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States, with the ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications.
Demonstrated expertise in beverage service standards, product knowledge, preparation techniques, and presentation methods, with a comprehensive understanding of spirits, wines, beers, and specialty cocktails.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele, staff, and management across all organizational levels.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and demonstrated experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and beverage operations technology platforms.
Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in beverage operations, hospitality management, or casino/gaming industry environments, with demonstrated supervisory or management-level responsibilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local liquor laws, health codes, and safety regulations, with the ability to ensure strict compliance across all beverage operations.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budget development, cost control, inventory management, and P&L analysis within a hospitality or gaming environment.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and implement effective operational solutions.
Ability to work in a casino environment with exposure to occupational factors including but not limited to ambient noise levels, secondhand smoke, and extended standing periods.
Preferred: Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality or gaming establishment with demonstrated success in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
