Beverlin continues to grow and has a PART-TIME opportunity (20-24 hours/week) for a HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST – a new role in our growing organization, reporting to the President. This is an onsite position with flexible hours.

Beverlin Specialty Tube is a local, family-owned manufacturing company providing custom metal perforated tubes and welded assemblies across a diverse range of industries and international customers. KEY AREAS OF JOB RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE:

• Managing day-to-day HR operational duties
• Hiring – recruiting & advertising
• Compensation Mgmt.
• Performance Improvement & Mgmt.
• Community Outreach & Engagement

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE OUTSTANDING SKILLS AND ABILITIES IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Excellent Interpersonal & Conflict Resolution skills
• Excellent Communication Skills (written, verbal and listening)
• Excellent Organizational Skills and attention to detail
• Ability to act with Integrity, Professionalism and Confidentiality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to quickly learn the HRIS and talent management systems

EDUCATION:

• Minimum Associates in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources Management or similar, or corresponding experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior HR Experience in the above areas (3-5 years minimum)
• Having connections within the greater Grand Rapids community is a plus
