This position will be responsible for the development and analysis of cost estimates for time, resources and labor required to complete manufactured industrial products.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Consult with internal team members, customers, vendors, or other individuals to formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare cost estimation sheets with achievable machine rates, outside vendor processing requirements, material selection and manufacturing costs.
• Prepare customer quotations.
• Develop outside vendor and supplier RFQ’s.
• Review and compare quotes with existing products to ensure consistency and achievability.

Required Skills:

• High attention to detail
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Experience in Manufacturing and/or Metals
• Demonstrated manufacturing competence and technical orientation.
• Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, or a job shop environment
• Strong efficiency and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication, teamwork, organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional & timely communication (written, verbal)
• The ability to positively collaborate with different levels of the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• 5 Years of Prior Costing Experience
• Experience with JobBOSS or E2 Shoptech a significant plus
