My client is looking for a Security Engineer for their location in Fairmont, WV. This is a Contract to Hire position. My client is open to candidates willing to relocate and may cover a portion of relocation expense.

About the Position
Operational aspects include tiered support/maintenance of vulnerability management software (Tenable Security Center/Nessus), web content filtering (McAfee Web Gateway), and FireEye IDS/IPS ecosystem (FireEye NX, EX, HX, AX, and CMS) in a highly-distributed and heterogeneous environment of over 40,000 endpoints.Planning functions include implementation of security solutions, participation in creation/maintenance of policies, standards, and procedures.

Responsibilities
• Deployment of McAfee Web Gateway to support Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) implementations across 5 sites to service 60,000+ users
• Assist in development of processes, procedures, and documentation relating to pre-existing deployment of FireEye ecosystem; optimization of that ecosystem and deployment of new related technologies
• Analysis of vulnerability data and generation of vulnerability reports (DHS CyberScope, DHS CDM, and others) for enterprise distribution through a variety of security tools; assist in development of vulnerability assessment and reporting policies and procedures for specific vulnerabilities
• Creation and maintenance of scripts and tools for data integration, metric tracking, and troubleshooting related to Tenable Security Center and scripts for malware analysis
• Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture, and the creation of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures)

Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences
• Must have a government security clearance of Secret or greater (absolutely required).
• Tenable Certified Security Engineer (TCSE); CompTIA Security+ CE; CompTIA Server+ CE; EC-Council CEH; RSA Archer (preferred)
• Secure web gateway tools (McAfee Web Gateway, Blue Coat, Websense, etc.)
• Vulnerability assessment tools (Tenable, Rapid7, etc.)
• Solving operational problems in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, bash, Powershell, VBScript, etc.)
• Working with technical teams on vulnerability remediation
• Working technical knowledge of Windows system
• SIEM technology (ArcSight, Splunk, McAfee ESM, RSA Netwitness/Security Analytics Suite, etc.)
• Common protocols, standards, and services used in multi-tier applications (HTTP, SQL, SMTP, LDAP, etc.)
