Essential Functions

• Report to shop or job promptly, in uniform, in time to be at job by 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Follow written or verbal instruction on equipment, piping, ductwork and any other instruction given by supervisors.
• Coordinate work with general contractors, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
• Take proper precautions to protect customer and company property with due regard for safety.
• Anticipate needs of job and use time and material efficiently.
• Pursue work assignments in an orderly manner employing proper techniques, good judgment, cleanliness, accurate records and pride in workmanship.
• Handle job site decisions and customer relations positively and refer major decisions to the office.
• Responsible for turning in list of materials used at job each day unless directed otherwise.
• Measure, fabricate, and install Sheet Metal Duct.
• Measure, fabricate, and install fiberglass.
• Select and install control wiring.
• Finish jobs on time (70% of all jobs).
• Balance equipment for proper operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and installation instructions.
• Knowledge of city and state codes.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma.
