    Job Description

    Beyond Speech Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings (based on individual preference), including public schools, charter schools, homes, daycares, and clinic-based environments, providing therapy to children with diverse needs and abilities.

    Additionally, we would consider a hybrid candidate who works remotely through teletherapy 2-3 days per week and in our Dover, DE clinic 2-3 days per week. We also have availability for community-based early intervention positions throughout the state of Delaware.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric clients.

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.

    Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and pragmatics.

    Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to therapy.

    Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy.

    Mentor and support fellow team members, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

    Engage in family-centered care practices, involving parents and caregivers in the therapy process and providing resources and support as needed.

    Specialize in areas of interest, such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), feeding therapy, or early intervention, based on individual career goals and client needs.

    Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapy programs, including our highly regarded feeding program.

    Qualifications

    Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

    Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

    Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.

    Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply and we have onsite mentorship available.

    Experience working with pediatric populations with a variety of disabilities preferred.

    Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric speech therapy.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
