We are seeking a dynamic individual to support volunteers and high school students in successful mentoring relationships. Essential to BBBST, the primary function of Program Coordinator is to facilitate high impact relationships between ~50-75 mentees and mentors. The Program Coordinator will focus in the area of college readiness to help better prepare our high school students to graduate high school with a plan for the future. Reporting to a Program Director, Program Coordinator will leverage the classroom environment to inspire personal and academic development for each mentee enrolled in the program. By facilitating weekly classroom lessons for mentees, leading monthly events, and providing individual support for pairs, they will help develop a strong partnership at their school site and contribute to Mentor 2.0 impact in the college success landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm and interest in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, have experience working with a diverse population, have demonstrated success in prioritizing and meeting deadlines, and is self-initiated. Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum Bachelors degree from an accredited University REQUIRED; in social services, youth development, education, or a related field preferred. * 3+ years of professional experience in youth development, education, or college access. * Assessment and relationship development experience with child and adult populations; understanding of child development and family dynamics. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * This position will involve evening and weekend work. If home visitation is indicated, must travel to local communities and neighborhoods. * Experience working with data analysis to inform participant support strategies and programmatic outcomes.
