As Cashier, you will greet and serve customers as they enter the restaurant, respond to inquiries, and take orders for food and drinks. Our restaurant is busy, so we need someone to ensure that our customers receive their food and beverage orders quickly. Our ideal candidate is flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks, including cleanup of public areas, order packaging, and register tally at the end of the shift. Responsibilities: • Take customer orders, enter them into restaurant computer, and communicate them to the kitchen crew • Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces • Tell customers their order total, accept payments, and return any required change • Make sure that all orders are quickly delivered to the customers • Welcome customers and help answer question about menu items and ordering Qualifications: • Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are needed • Should enjoy working with people and display strong customer service skills • Strong cash register and point of sale system experience are desired • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
