Hours: Standard hours (M-F: 8-5).
PTO Days: 10 days per year
Compensation: DOE
Start Date: Immediately
Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Responsibilities
Assist in collecting past due invoices.
Perform bi-weekly payroll processes.
Assist with administration of benefits.
Assist with new hire paperwork.
Assist with filing of all payroll related returns.
Assist with calculation of sales tax and return preparation.
General ledger analysis and reconciliation.
Reconciliation of bank account on monthly basis
Assist in A/P, A/R and inventory.
Assist with monthly financial statements.
Ensure all sales orders are processed in a timely fashion and are error free
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Maintain the books and financials for 4 business entities
Requirements
Great work ethic
Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
5+ years of accounting experience
Excellent with QuickBooks
Attention to Detail
Deadline-Oriented
Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Valid driver’s license
