Big Huge Games is looking for a real-time VFX Artist to help craft top-tier visual experiences for millions of players across the globe! Join a team of artists built on trust and collaboration, dedicated to shipping great games.  _This a full-time (40hr/week) position onsite at our studio in Timonium, MD. No telecommuting or remote work options are available. _ DUE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING COVID19 POSITIONS MAY BEGIN REMOTE BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO ONSITE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with the project Art Director to develop the visual style and VFX pipeline for live and unannounced titles
• Collaborate with Designers, Engineers, and Art staff to create stunning, performant realtime VFX assets
• Create additional 3D and 2D game assets as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Strong portfolio showcasing personal or professional realtime VFX work
• Thorough understanding of Unity FX pipeline, Unreal or CryEngine background a plus
• Strong digital asset creation skills in Photoshop
• Knowledge 3dsMax or Maya modeling and animation
• Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate through options based on feedback
• Familiarity with shader creation tools
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong technical skills
