JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-time office manager to join our team. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This is an office position with the primary focus being on office duties including, but not limited to invoicing, posting received payments, basic bookkeeping, issuing purchase orders, inventory control, customer service and a variety of other sales support tasks and projects. The new office assistant needs to be personable and able to communicate clearly, especially over the phone and via email. This position also provides phone support to our customers by assisting them through the purchasing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily invoicing, posting received payments, basic bookkeeping,issuing purchase orders, & basic inventory control
Be able to answer phone calls and operate office equipment
Communicate clearly, especially over the telephone and via email
Provide exceptional customer service to our customers
Continually expand knowledge of Big John products
Work efficiently on a variety of projects
Other projects as assigned or need arises
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior customer service & sales experience preferred, but not required
Prior bookkeeping experience preferred, but not required
Computer proficiency & knowledge of MS Office
Positive, personable attitude and willingness to learn
Strong work ethic
Organized & detail-oriented
Ability to multitask and switch from one task to another quickly
Desire to work with a close-knit team of co-workers
Ability to communicate clearly in person, on the phone, and via email
