    THE BASICS | Primary Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities for Logistics Supervisor

    We are seeking individuals with robust experience to join us as a Logistics Supervisor. As the Logistics Supervisor, you'll tackle a range of challenges, with a primary focus on maintaining top-notch customer service for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, highly organized, and a proven problem-solver.

    BASIC DUTIES

    • Coordinate all customer deliveries, ensuring adherence to company policies and promised timelines.
    • Facilitate outbound shipments via common carriers.
    • Optimize efficiency and profitability by effectively planning routes and manpower.
    • Oversee consistent pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
    • Manage logistics personnel to ensure timely, accurate, and safe shipping and delivery operations.
    • Collaborate with Middle and Upper Management on policy, planning, and strategic decisions.

     

    BASIC SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Self-motivation and adaptability to changing priorities.
    • Proficiency in various mobile and computer applications.
    • Critical thinking, time management, people management, judgment, decision-making, social awareness, coaching, and teaching abilities are essential.
