    Job Summary:

    The role of the Senior Construction Project Manager is to navigate the intricacies of project planning, execution, and successful completion within predefined timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks. Leading diverse teams through effective communication, this position ensures seamless project management.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Formulates comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and financial parameters.
    • Conducts project kick-off meetings, articulating project goals and expectations to team members.
    • Allocates resources—human, financial, and equipment—to support project activities.
    • Vigilantly monitors project progress, identifying and addressing risks and issues promptly.
    • Cultivates professional relationships with stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals.
    • Manages project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
    • Skillfully manages client expectations regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
    • Facilitates regular project meetings, providing updates, milestone reviews, and risk assessments.
    • Ensures compliance with building codes, project specifications, and industry standards.
    • Evaluates project performance against established metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Prepares and delivers project reports, including budget variance analysis and milestone achievements.
    • Conducts productive Owner-Architect-Contractor and Architect-Design-Contractor meetings, documenting progress.
    • Collaborates with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely payments.
    • Nurtures existing client relationships and identifies potential clients.
    • Initiates contact with potential customers to build relationships and drive sales.
    • Utilizes existing contacts and establishes new relationships with decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential partners to foster new business opportunities.
    • Performs other relevant duties as assigned.

    • Knowledge of construction accounting – revenue, budget, and cost.
    • Familiarity with construction estimating.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction schedules, budgets, and contracts, with 3 years in a senior or leadership role required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
    • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
    • Extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling; ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
