RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

Locally-owned Sports Bar & Restaurant has an immediate opening for a General Manager.
JOB SUMMARY
Provide the necessary leadership to run a profitable operation by building sales and developing people while maintaining and upholding the company standards. General Manager has the full, 100% responsibility, for the entire operation and the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for development of team members and managers within the restaurant. Establish a clear, modern training program. Trains and empowers team members to exercise good judgment to make decisions regarding service, food quality and guest satisfaction.
- Continuously provides team members with verbal recognition, direction and support. Teaches, coaches and documents team members who fail to execute standards.
- Responsible for all hiring and staffing within the restaurant: maintaining all employee records in accordance with the local laws. Reporting payroll promptly.
- Create and continuously reinforce a positive and safe work environment. Lead with positive energy and robust enthusiasm.
- Act as a role model for company standards. Upholds all policies and procedures within the company.
- Follows standard operating procedures to ensure outstanding guest experiences.
- Visits guests to build rapport, assess guest satisfaction, develop relationships, and promote repeat business.
- Handling all repairs and maintenance matters timely.
- Resolves all guest complaints by listening to their issues and finding solutions.
- Responsible for controlling food, labor and liquor costs.
- Creating a robust succession planning and execution of the plan.
- Responsible for ensuring all product purchases are from approved sources and for maintaining vendor relations.
- Maintains a restaurant that is safe for guests and all team members.
- Keeping up with CDC, NRA and other government authorities and trade associations regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic and maintaining a safe work environment for all staff.
- Responsible for running a profitable business and meeting established restaurant specific and company goals.
- Updating and Executing the Annual Marketing plan which maps all events and marketing strategy throughout each year.
- Oversees all administrative and all other day-to-day functions of a typical restaurant necessary for success.
- Will be required to handle special projects as assigned by the CEO.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability and stamina to work in excess of 50 hours per week.
- Ability to move throughout the restaurant (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to see with or without corrective lenses.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to communicate effectively through speaking and writing.
- Ability to move objects (lift, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.

- Mon-Thu: 5:00PM - 10:00PM
- Fri-Sat: 11:30AM - 11:30PM
- Sun: 11:30AM - 10:00PM
