    Job Description

    You will work closely with the founders on various projects, gaining an overview of operations to mobilize community, fans and influencers. You will help to build partnerships and an engaged following, and you will participate in brand positioning, client identification, marketing, and promoting events.

    You will be exposed to all areas of communications and marketing, such as:

    • Creating social media content
    • Developing a content calendar and ensuring the schedule is followed
    • Researching information for blogs and various communication mediums
    • Graphic/media design collaboration or direction
    • Editing website and marketing material 
    • Identifying client and marketing opportunities
    • Executing marketing and campaign tasks 
    • Writing newsletters and emails 
    • promoting events and products
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    A candidate should demonstrate the following characteristics: 

    • Passionate about children and science education
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to
    • Understands how to communicate with parents, teachers, and children
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Familiar with various social media platforms and understands the different ways each is best used 
    • Web, graphic design and social media background is preferred
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • We value diverse perspectives. Ideal candidates for this project may be Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, or any Science major

    Additional Information

    This internship is part-time with 10-15 hours per week for 10 weeks. This internship is unpaid, however, we can also work with you to earn academic credit. We may consider a remote position for certain contributors.
