    SUMMARY

    Under direction of the Yardi Systems Manager, the Yardi Support Specialist will serve as the first and main point of contact for Yardi system users. The Yardi Support Specialist will provide quality support for employees, assist in identifying training needs, and collaborate with the Yardi Systems Manager to implement new Yardi services.     ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

    Yardi System Support

    Serve as the first and main contact for Yardi system users; provide daily support to end users through troubleshooting, coaching, and consulting

    Provide support while maintaining data and system integrity, following best practices

    Research issues/problems that come up and work with the Yardi Systems Manager and Yardi Support to arrive at a solution

    Monitors support tickets in the Service Desk database and reviews monthly results to recognize and communicate problem trends to Yardi Systems Manager and collaborate on appropriate action

    Recognize both topic and user specific training needs and communicate those needs to the Yardi Systems Manager

    Work with the Yardi Client Services team __ to ensure our requests are being handled timely; test programming changes, as necessary

    Annual review of Yardi support articles for accuracy and relevance

    Implementation Services

    Assist the Yardi System Manager with the implementation of new sites in Yardi; perform data setup and testing to ensure an accurate transition to Yardi

    Assist in the implementation of new modules and/or system capabilities not being utilized

    Assist with upgrades and testing new releases of existing modules

    Document system changes due to monthly upgrades and the effect on end users

    Create step by step training documents for end users

    Assist Yardi Systems Manager with setting up users and ensuring users have accurate access

    Perform other duties and projects as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma or GED required

    3 years Yardi and RENTCafe support and/administrator experience

    Previous experience in Residential Property Management required; working knowledge of Yardi including market rate properties

    Skills and Abilities:

    Fluent in English and skilled in oral and written communication

    Ability to use tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous manner when dealing with co-workers and the public

    Ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations for urgency of request and impacted user

    Ability to interact effectively with both experienced and inexperienced users

    Ability to build relationships, respect, and trust with customers and co-workers

    Analytical and problem-solving skills

    Self-starter who is highly organized and detail oriented

    Physical Demands:

    Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; strength to lift and carry items weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed material and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in-person and over the telephone. Must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions, including climbing stairs and walking the hallways and common areas.
