At FirstLight® Home Care, we’re seeking caring professionals listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry (in good standing) to provide private duty, in-home care to our clients.

HOURS 5AM - 7PM - Time and a half for any hours over 40.

This isn’t facility work—it’s one-on-one care in the comfort of the client’s home. You’ll make a real difference every day by bringing comfort, companionship, and skilled assistance to those who depend on you.

Responsibilities include:

Providing personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance)

Offering companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being

Preparing and serving meals according to client needs and preferences

Performing light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home environment

Assisting with errands, transportation, and daily activities

Following detailed care plans and communicating updates to the care team

Other duties as assigned to ensure each client receives exceptional care

Qualifications:

Current listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry, in good standing (required)

Bi-Lingual (Spanish Speaking)

Experience in private duty or in-home care (preferred)

A passion for caregiving and a genuine desire to help others

Empathy, patience, and professionalism

Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality care

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively
