Job Summary: We are seeking a caring and reliable Bilingual Daycare Assistant to support our childcare team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about working with young children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff in English and Spanish

Help with meal times, nap time, and bathroom routines

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

Support learning through play, activities, and educational materials

Help manage transitions between activities throughout the day

Requirements:

Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)

Experience working with children (daycare, preschool, babysitting, or similar) preferred

Patient, responsible, and nurturing personality

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to supervise multiple children and stay attentive

Must pass background check and meet local childcare requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Early childhood education coursework or experience

Previous daycare or preschool experience
