About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at Jorge Vasquez-Garcia DDS Dental Cor as a Bilingual Dental Assistant, where your skills will make a meaningful impact on our patients' dental health. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.

Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.

Provide excellent customer service while managing patient appointments and records.

Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish to explain procedures and answer questions.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.

Assist with administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.

Proven experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for effective patient communication.

Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Current CPR certification is a plus.
