Physical Therapy Technician/ Medical Case Manager- Bilingual English /Spanish Our busy clinic is growing, and we are seeking a skilled medical technician possessing strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Responsibilities: • Assist Physical Therapists with patient exercises, modalities, and treatments as directed. • Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient use. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including equipment, treatment rooms, and waiting areas. • Transport patients within the clinic as necessary. • Help maintain accurate patient records and documentation. • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit. • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. • Perform other administrative and supportive duties as assigned. • Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans. • Coordinate medical appointments, treatments, and other healthcare services. • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. • Maintain accurate and detailed case records. • Facilitate transitions of care between different healthcare settings. • Provide education and resources to patients and their families. Qualifications: • Spanish-speaking. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly physical therapy, is highly preferred. • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. • Compassionate and patient-centered approach. • Basic computer proficiency. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods. • Medical case manager is a plus. • Experience in medical case management. • Strong understanding of healthcare systems. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Ability to think outside the box and be a problem solver. • Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is required. • Experience as a Physical Therapy Technician (PT Tech) is a plus. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
