Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8-hour shift Work Location: Hybrid remote Responsibilities: • Collect and meticulously review documents pertinent to each case, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Draft professional correspondence to clients, courts, USCIS, and other legal entities with precision and clarity. • Prepare affidavits, declarations, briefs, and cover letters under attorney supervision, maintaining adherence to legal standards and requirements. • Delegate tasks to legal assistants, overseeing their workflow, providing guidance, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of their work. • Conduct thorough reviews of all correspondence and packages before submission to attorneys, ensuring excellence in work product. • Maintain meticulous records and track the progress of cases, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and requirements. • Handle confidential information, personal documents, and client funds with the utmost discretion and integrity. • Respond promptly to all client inquiries via email, text message, and phone call, providing clear and courteous assistance. • Follow up with clients to obtain necessary documents, filing fees, forms, and other required information. • Conduct thorough reviews of scanned documents to verify accuracy and completeness. • Conduct client onboarding calls, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Qualifications: • At least 3 years of immigration law-related work experience under the supervision of a licensed attorney. • Knowledge of family-based immigration, VAWA, U Visa, and consular processing. • Experience in managing the case initiation process, fact gathering, and preparing petition packages. • Experience in preparing court-related supporting documents for Removal Defense. • Ability to manage immigration inquiries, gather required information, and keep clients informed of case progress. • Must be highly analytical with excellent writing skills, communication, document management, and legal research abilities. • Case monitoring and case management. • Excellent organizational and time management skills with quick turnaround time. • Positive person with excellent work and client-first ethics. • Detail-oriented and people-oriented. • Fluent in English and Spanish. Compensation: $20 - $23 hourly
